Le convinzioni che i docenti universitari possiedono sulla propria Self-Efficacy influenzano non solo il loro modo di lavorare, ma soprattutto gli esiti di apprendimento e il senso di autoefficacia dei loro studenti. La percezione di autoefficacia dei docenti nella didattica a distanza assume un ruolo ancora più importante in situazione di emergenza Covid-19. Reading skills are more and more required to succeed professional examination. French crane drivers are concerned with this problem. In order to help them, we have conducted a study with three main steps. First, we carried out a cognitive work analysis. Second, we test several analogical modalities of written presentations focusing on the construction of a specific simulator. Finally, two experiments are presented showing a significative effect of this simulator on the comprehension of cranes technical documentation.

This article studies the appropriation and the uses of technologies by French student teachers. The methodology used is based on the analysis of answers to questionnaires submitted to the trainees of four “instituts universitaires de formation des maîtres” (teacher training schools). The results obtained tend to prove that outside the classroom trainee teachers are today well equipped and really competent as far as personal and professional uses of technologies are concerned. However, it appears that these skills are not taken advantage of in the presence of the pupils.
